Congratulations- Serra Club Essay Winners! Madison Doan 1st place and top 10 in the Diocese Timothy Elmer 2nd place

Each year the 8th grade competes in an essay contest put on by the Serra Club. This year's topic was about how they could use the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy in their vocation when they are older. Madison Doan took first place in the class and Timothy Elmer took second. Madison's essay was then moved on to the diocesan level to complete with all the best essays from across the diocese. Hers was chosen as one of the top 10 in the diocese! Congratulations Madison!
